Rembrandt One-Hour smile whitening program is an in office whitening treatment. It uses a gel ‘Rembrandt Lightning Gel’ that contains a hydrogen peroxide solution that is applied by the dentist. This solution reacts with a light system either the Rembrandt Sapphire or Rembrandt Virtuoso to activate the gel and whiten your teeth. The Rembrandt system whitens teeth up to 10 shades in a one hour visit.

A consultation visit with your dentist allow the cause of your stained teeth to be determined and an evaluation can be done to set reasonable expectations or discuss your whitening alternatives.

How long does whitening last?
Whitening periods vary depending on the original reasons for the discolouration, lifestyle and dietary habits oral hygiene after the whitening and other commonsense factors. Whitening touch ups can be performed as needed and some companies such as Rembrandt offer toothpastes that increase the length of whitening success.
